PrimeSign vs FuseSign

FuseSign is an Australian e-signing service sold as a monthly or yearly plan with signing credits, where each signer on an envelope uses a credit. It integrates with XPM, FYI and BGL. PrimeSign is priced per firm with unlimited signers on every envelope, so a letter signed by a couple or two directors costs the same as one signed by one person. PrimeSign isn't open yet.

What it costs

What a 10-person firm pays a year.

For 100 and 300 envelopes a month, using each service's own pricing model.

2 credits for an engagement letter with two signers on FuseSign

FuseSign charges one credit for each unique signer, so a letter to two directors uses double the credits of a letter to one. On PrimeSign it is one envelope either way.

How we worked it out

  • PrimeSign: Essentials is A$60 × 12 = A$720 a year with 150 envelopes a month included. Professional is A$110 × 12 = A$1,320 with 400 a month. At 300 a month, Essentials plus 150 extras at 40c would be A$1,440, so Professional is used. Every user and every signer is included.
  • One signer, 100 a month: Business Lite yearly is A$1,176 for 960 credits, plus 240 extra credits × A$1.20 = A$288, so A$1,464. Monthly billing comes to the same: A$98 + 20 × A$1.20 = A$122 a month.
  • One signer, 300 a month: Business yearly is A$2,257 for 2,160 credits, plus 1,440 × A$1.10 = A$1,584, so A$3,841.
  • Two signers, 100 a month (2,400 credits a year): Business yearly A$2,257, plus 240 × A$1.10 = A$264, so A$2,521.
  • Two signers, 300 a month (7,200 credits a year): Enterprise yearly A$5,378, plus 1,200 × A$0.99 = A$1,188, so A$6,566.
  • FuseSign prices are in AUD, ex GST. Optional full-service setup is A$500 + GST once.
  • PrimeSign SMS codes (Planned): 10c per text on Starter and Essentials, included on Professional. One text per envelope would add A$120 a year at 100 a month on Essentials, and nothing on Professional.
  • FuseSign SMS: 10c per text on Starter and Business Lite. Business and Enterprise include 2 texts per credit (360 or 1,000 a month), then 10c each.

PrimeSign prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST. PrimeSign isn't open yet: these are the plans it opens with.

Per-signer pricing

How FuseSign's credits work

Each FuseSign plan comes with signing credits: 32 a month on Starter, 80 on Business Lite, 180 on Business and 500 on Enterprise. Yearly plans give the year's credits upfront. Extra credits cost A$1.50, A$1.20, A$1.10 or A$0.99, depending on the plan.

A bundle uses one credit for each unique signer, with at least one per bundle. An engagement letter signed by one client uses one credit; a letter signed by a couple, or by two directors, uses two. A firm sending 100 two-signer letters a month needs 200 credits a month, not 100.

On PrimeSign an envelope is one send, with any number of documents and signers. A second or third signer does not change the price.
